While living in the Raleigh area of North Carolina, Michael was the AIA Triangle Chapter IDP Coordinator and upon moving back to Maryland, most recently served as the AIA Potomac Valley Architect Licensing Advisor. Michael has given lectures on strategies for successful completion of the Intern Development Program along with the Architect Registration Exam.

In addition to his professional work, Michael has a love of the outdoors shared with his wife and daughter. When the weather permits, they can often be found camping and hiking.
