Stovall Smith Neyman & Associates - PortraitsJune 2014
After 11 years under the able and focused direction of Edward C. Kohls, FAIA, the Maryland PAC treasury will now be guided by Allen E. Neyman, AIA.  As newly appointed treasurer, the former President of AIA Maryland promises to continue a vigilant and persistent watchfulness on matters of importance to the architectural community in the legislature of the State of Maryland.

Allen lives, and continues an architectural practice, in Rockville, MD. Allen partnered with Terry F. Horowitz, AIA, and more recently with John T. Stovall, AIA, sharing ownership in their noteworthy firms in Silver Spring and Rockville. He served on the Board of Directors of AIA MD, and the PV AIA where he also served as President. Allen is married to Karen R. Lefkowitz, Vice President Business Transformation, Pepco Holdings Inc. and has a son and grandchildren living in Gaithersburg.

Allen’s current work includes the design of a temple building, a place of worship for the Hindu community, Sri Bhaktha Anjaneya Temple, in Urbana, Maryland.

The Maryland Architects PAC was founded in 1994. Tom Liebel, FAIA has been Chair since January of 2010.  Although closely aligned with AIA MD, the MD Architects PAC is an entity separate from AIA Maryland.
