Jury Comments - This spirited building has a presence in the landscape that asks to be experienced. The complex program of this building – the series of interior spaces are thoughtfully resolved and compelling to experience. This building nestles within the campus and resolves from a pedestrian standpoint. This district of the campus building itself is a simple but clear resolution of the program and the overall campus. In particular, the jury noted that the quality of the public spaces within the journalism school were quite inviting.
