Jury Comments
- The spatial and programmatic connections over barriers in the urban context and the way that the diagrams began to reveal the specific nature of those connections were successful. It’s just a really ambitious project. It’s such a nice, big urban scale and the graphics were excellent in this project. It’s really multiple projects. It looks at various modes and then tries to find programs that allow them to be knitted back into the fabric of the community where they are located. The proposal is looking at a series of sites throughout that community and investing programs to connect the greater community. There must be a dozen or more program components and design proposals scattered around the community.
