- The diagrams were particularly strong and the detailed understanding of the program was convincing. It was very clear that the student had done a lot of research and had a clear understanding of the different components of the program. The sequence of spaces was very strong in the way in which it looked at the ways in which people moved through outdoor spaces, through indoor spaces, the ways in which the buildings connected to one another and created a campus of building elements was very strong. It was thoroughly considered, and there was an obvious depth of knowledge about the procession, the ceremony, everything that goes into making that kind of facility was well understood. The elevation drawings were much richer. The three-dimensional drawings were very, very well done. But there was an unevenness in the mode of presentation, which was surprising, because oftentimes the three-dimensional drawings are the ones that are the hardest to convey information sometimes, so it’s unusual that the sections didn’t really hold up to the three-dimensional drawings. The three-dimensional drawings were really beautiful.
