Disaster Assistance Training Opportunity

The Emergency Management Institute of the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) is offering a four-day training course — E2460 Advanced Building Science Series I — from April 27–30, 2020, at its National Emergency Training Center in Emmitsburg, Md. Designed for engineers, architects, building code officials, floodplain managers, hazard mitigation/municipal planners, and persons with building science knowledge, the course addresses the ever-changing challenges faced from flood and wind risk, through a comprehensive approach of planning, compliance, best-practice mitigation and funding. The General Admissions Application (FEMA Form 119-25-1) is due no later than March 13, 2020.
